"One troublemaking teenager has made me tear every hair from my beautiful head!"

- Robotnik

Robotnik returns to his lair and uses his robot making machine to create a vicious new robot. He intends it to be strong, vicious, ferocious and supremely rotten like himself. He plans to make it the head of his new "Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad And They Are Agianst Team Sonic." However, in a tragic irony, the new robot, Scratch, doesn't seem as ferocious, in strength or intellect, as intended. Robotnik feels he made him too chicken, however he decides to double his power by cloning Scratch using one of his tail feathers. All goes well until Scratch unwittingly pulls a lever on Robotnik's robot machine that he wasn't supposed to pull, resulting in the birth of Grounder, his "identical twin brother". Sibling rivalry develop instantly as Scratch and Grounder fight over who is the better robot. Robotnik violently breaks them up and send them out to capture Sonic And His Team.

In the backround Coconuts, one of Robotnik's older robots demoted to sanitation duty, is enraged that he isn't the head of the SSSSS Squad and swears that he will catch Sonic And His Team first.

Meanwhile, Sonic Sally Knuckles Sonia Manic and Tails are running around, as usual, until they encounter a hot dog stand where they order two chilli dogs. However, the stand is being run by a poorly disguised Coconuts who then transforms the stand into a killer robot, complete with grabbing hands, cannons and tank treads. However, Sonic bends the cannons back against the robot causing it to explode leaving coconuts wrapped in his own hot dogs.

Scratch and Grounder proceed to lay out a variety of traps including a dropping wall trap, which Sonic is supposed to run into and a female decoy leading into a pitfall trap, which Sonic And His Team promptly escapes from and uses against them. Finally, Scratch and Grounder simply catch Tails But He Got Away and hold him hostage unless Sonic gives up, which he does Sally Said "No Sonic" Sonic Said "I Have To Sal Ok Just Dont Hurt Him".

With Sonic, now caged, and Tails, Using His Glinch Powers to Break Free And He Broke Free, Scratch and Grounder alert Robotnik who says he'll be right there to collect his prize. Unfortunately, Coconuts arrives, ties up Scratch and Grounder and decides to claim the prize for himself Shadow Destroys Coconuts and Said "In Case You Forgotten You're In Our House Now". With Chaos Spear Then He Walks In With Rouge The Bat Sally Gasped And Recognized Shadow. Sonic takes advantage of this and warns Coconuts that they could escape and foil his plans, so Coconuts throws them in the cage Sonic is being held in and Sonic quickly escapes and throws Coconuts in with them Tails Defeated Scratch And Grounder With His Martial Arts Moves Scratch Said "Hey The Fox Brat Can Defend Himself"? Grounder Said "Huh Who Knew".

After Sonic Tails Sally Knuckles Shadow Rouge Sonia And Manic, he whips up a dust storm causing the incoming Robotnik to be blinded. Sonic hijacks Grounder's telephone and uses it to "guide" Robotnik in. He uses Tails to hold a red light to indicate that he is 3ft off the ground, whereas he is actually much higher, and gets him to cut his engines and crash down on top of the caged robots, utterly destroying them.

Tails then says into his phone wondering where Scratch and Grounder are, to which Grounder's automated response tells him that the robot he is trying to reach has been "Disconnected And So Has You're Brain Robotnik You're SSSSSS Squad Racket Is Busted Now That Team Sonic Is Here"! then They Did There Victory Dance.

Sonic Says

Sonic tells everyone when you should call 911.

Goofs and Continuity Errors

Coconuts' Hot Dog Stand reveals seven cannons, but when Sonic aims the cannons back into the robot, there appear to be eight cannons.

Trivia

This is like the unaired pilot exept for the fact that in the UAP Scratch and Grounder were the survivors while in this episode, Robotnik makes them after when sonic attacks the unknown robots.
